Here’s an enhanced version of my presentation titled “Nostalgicide” as delivered at UpRise & Shine at HOPE Sussex on 2nd September 2023. This one has better sound quality and eliminates some of the noise of the screaming kids, which many messaged to say they found distracting!

This is a term I coined for what I suspect to be the systematic destruction of the nostalgic attachment many have to musical heroes, with specific emphasis on 80s icons Whitney Houston, Prince, George Michael and Michael Jackson.
