'Art is a mirror to your subconscious'

Carrie Olaje returns to Wake the Dead to discuss her artwork, along with her journey of self reflection & healing from a childhood of satanic ritual abuse. Art can be a vehicle for our subconscious mind to express itself. When overcoming trauma, as Carrie has done, art can reveal to the conscious mind what the subconscious is hiding. When we are broken & disintegrated, reconnecting with ourselves is the path toward healing. All people can benefit from the process of creating art. It is a key for implementing the maxim "know thyself" in your own life.
